About
Run by Leadership, Culture and Christianity (LCC), a student club at York University, Toronto, the Open Letter Project hopes to give a forum to university students especially, to say what they believe needs to be said to the general Christian church of today. Church leaders, theologians, pastors and concerned Christians should pay heed to what this generation has to say.
You can submit letters for publication in this blog to lccyork@gmail.com. You can write a short letter but submissions should not exceed 1,000 words. You can choose to be anonymous. But you must state gender, age, and faith background (if Christian, it would be helpful to state denominational background, if any). These information would be helpful for readers to frame your letter. All faiths are welcome to write an open letter, even atheists and agnostics. All submissions must be suitable for general public reading and will be edited for language, length and content if necessary. We reserve the right to withhold publication of any submitted letter we deem inappropriate.
Please take note that this is not a site to slander or complain about any specific church or Christian. Specific individuals, organizations or names should not be listed in your letter. Remember, it is an open letter to the universal Christian Church in general, not any particular church specifically. But you are welcome to use some specific examples of personal experiences to make your points but without naming names, so to speak.
Any further questions, please contact the Director, Shiao Chong via lccyork@gmail.com .
